Blaydon RFC start a third season (2022/23) in the North Premier after just missing out on promotion in the play-offs. Our prime objective for the season is to win the 1st place promotion spot and to facilitate this we have introduced a new/larger coaching staff to the club. As ever we know this objective will be a challenge, as there are some very good teams competing for that automatic promotion spot.

We look forward to renewing rivalries against teams like: Alnwick, Billingham, Macclesfield and Harrogate, as well as some new ones.

An upside from us playing in North Premier this season is the number of local fixtures with Alnwick, Billingham and Morpeth, it’s shaping up to be a great season of competition for the North East sporting calendar.
