What a fantastic weekend of Rugby at Blaydon!

Friday night saw the U16 Girls kick off the weekend beating Houghton 53-5 in the county cup.

Next up on Saturday were the Mens 2nd XV who came out 64-17 winners in an outstanding performance against Peterlee and Horden in the county cup.

Sunday saw the U16 boys continue the winning form with a 53-10 win against Hartlepool in the county plate semi-final to set-up a final against Ryton or Stockton!

Next up were the Colts who beat local rivals Ryton 24-7 in the county cup to progress to the next stage!

Last up were the Red Kites 1st XV who finished the weekend with a 38-29 victory over Driffield Ladies to cement their position as league leaders as their great form continues.

In a weekend where most rugby across the region was cancelled, Blaydon showed their strength across the club with some fantastic performances!
